TO THE INFINITY AND BEYOND
A stay of art in the heart of Recanati.
The hotel’s history parallels Recanati’s history, poetry hometown and village among the most beautiful of our region, the Marches. The Count Percivalli’s palace, now the Gallery Hotel Recanati, built in the seventeenth century lies a stone’s throw from the Cathedral and from the civic museum that houses magnificent masterworks by Lorenzo Lotto. During centuries the palace has undergone several transformations: from an Episcopal seminary during the nineteenth century, passing from the diocese to the municipality during the late seventies and becoming a school.
After a substantial restoration, started in 2000, the palace was turned into a luxury 4-star hotel opening its doors to guests on July 19, 2006. With 68 rooms, nestled in the historical city centre, the hotel looks like a natural terrace on the infinite sea of rolling hills. The passage of time here is marked by the tolling of cathedral’s bell tower and by the echoes of Beniamino Gigli, famous tenor, who started his singing career just inside the palace chapel. Equipped with all services that make it hospitality’s flagship of the area, Gallery Hotel Recanati is ready to welcome you for an unforgettable stay in the heart of our region, the Marches.
